Here is the pay off: Engaged student learning
Nancy Chang and Cathy Webb, two of our champion faculty from Edmonds Heights K-12 school (Edmonds, WA) have integrated our STEM based guitar building project into the math and science curriculum this academic year and after school activities at the high school. Nancy, Cathy and their students have captured and produced a video highlighting their very first academic STEM guitar build project.
Additionally, Please check out their website to find out more information on how they are using the STEM guitar project in the classroom: http://themathvortex.com/Origin.html
It is a great 16 minute video, Showing the start to finish build process. It can be viewed both from the math vortex webpage and the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0NZ6D68sZ-E
Our Faculty Team can also provide consulting on the training, development, and implementation of a guitar building workshop at your location.
